• This Gravity Feed Pond Bio-Filter comes is mechanical, so cleaning would be done by hand in order to  remove collected wastes from the system.
• These filters also contain bio-balls that increase the growing area for good microorganisms.
• Use a WH4000 or WH3000 Pump in conjunction with this bio-filter for best results.

How It Works:

Water enters the filter box, passing through the UV light and down on to the coarse foam block in the first chamber. Water then works through the foam block and down into the biological media. Water then works it way through to the next chamber where is passes through another layer of foam and biological media before leaving the filter via the outlet back into the pond.
