What is in the box?

About the filter:

• The Gravity Feed Pond Bio Filter converts harmful solid matter and fish waste into harmless nitrates.
• The Gravity Feed Pond Bio-Filter creates an Eco-system in your Pond. It has a UV Light that filters out the effects of sunlight on the water. The filter materials create an area where different organisms grow and feed on the other microorganisms that affects the water condition.
• This Gravity Feed Pond Bio-Filter comes is mechanical, so cleaning would be done by hand in order to  remove collected wastes from the system.
• These filters also contain bio-balls that increase the growing area for good microorganisms.
• Use a WH4000 or WH3000 Pump in conjunction with this biofilter for best results.

Features:

• Depending on fish stock levels, and if low this filter can filter ponds up to 18000 litres.
• Built in 36 watt UV light.
• Complete with filter media.
• This filter comes complete with 2 coarse grade filter foams and plastic bio ball biological filter media.

How It Works:

Water enters the filter box, passing through the UV light and down on to the coarse foam block in the first chamber. Water then works through the foam block and down into the biological media. Water then works it way through to the next chamber where is passes through another layer of foam and biological media before leaving the filter via the outlet back into the pond.
