How Does a Float Switch Work?

The 0.5M Cable Float Switch uses a simple mechanical switching system to monitor liquid levels.

As the water level rises, the float moves upwards. When the water level drops, the float moves downwards.

This movement changes the position of the internal electrical switch, allowing it to control compatible equipment.

Depending on how the switch is wired, it can be used to:
