Automatic Pressure Control

Important Operating Information

This pump is designed for intermittent use only and must not run continuously.

To protect the motor and pressure switch, follow these guidelines:

• Maximum Running Time: Operate for no longer than 30 minutes at a time.

• Cooling Period: Allow at least 20 minutes OFF between operating cycles and ensure the motor has cooled to ambient temperature.

• Avoid Frequent Cycling: Repeated starting and stopping can damage the automatic pressure switch.

• Check for Leaks: Poor hose connections, leaking fittings and taps that do not close properly can cause the pump to cycle repeatedly.

• Maintain Correct Voltage: Use a suitable 12V DC power supply capable of delivering the required current. Low voltage may prevent the pump from reaching its shut-off pressure and can lead to motor damage.

• Secure All Hoses: Use pressure-rated hose clamps and fittings to prevent connections from coming loose under pressure.
