Solar Panel Requirements

The XDC5000 requires a minimum 30W solar panel.

Actual pump performance when running directly from solar power will depend on the available sunlight, solar panel output and overall system configuration. For more consistent operation when sunlight changes, the pump can form part of a correctly sized solar system with compatible battery and control equipment.

Important Installation Note

Always use a suitable fuse holder when connecting the pump directly to a solar panel. This provides important electrical protection for the pump and solar setup.
