How Does It Work?

The Automatic Pump Controller takes care of starting and stopping your water pump based on water demand.

1. Open a Tap: When the water pressure drops to the controller's starting pressure, it automatically switches the pump on.

2. Water Flows: The pump supplies water while the tap remains open, helping maintain steady flow and pressure.

3. Close the Tap: Once water demand stops, the controller automatically switches the pump off.

4. Dry-Run Protection: If the water supply runs out, the controller helps protect the pump by stopping operation.

Important Pressure Requirements

The controller has a starting pressure of 1.5 Bar, which can be adjusted using the built-in adjustment screw.

For the controller to operate correctly, your pump must be capable of producing at least 0.6 Bar more than the selected starting pressure.

For example:

• Starting Pressure: 1.5 Bar

• Minimum Required Pump Pressure: Above 2.1 Bar

Please Note: This controller manages the pump's starting pressure but does not increase the maximum pressure your pump can produce. The actual operating pressure depends on your pump's performance and the water system.
